Take some time to consider your assumptions about the following three questions: (i don't have the assumption chart)
How do you match your message to your audience? first you should know your message. then you should analyze your audience. The message should include a mixed media in order to reach all members of the audience.
How do you align media with the instructional goals? by defining the goals then defining the learners. As you go through the definitions you can match the media with the definition. However, it is important to review all media sources since there maybe multiple media available.
How do you integrate emerging technologies into your instruction? you should not be afraid of exploring technology both old and new sources. By knowing the technology and being able to use it correctly as well as safely. It is also important to teach the students safety and appropriate use of technology.

Great ideas on how to match message to audience. I like it that you are already considering the mixed needs of an audience, good differentiation. Establishing goals for your instruction is an easy base to develop your media around. Keeping an eye on emerging technologies and learning to use them well and safely will ensure that your use with students will be beneficial to their learning. Good post!
